• We believe in the Holy Bible (Old & New Testaments) as the final and supreme authority in life and faith.
• We believe in the one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit
• We believe that Jesus Christ, by offering Himself on the Cross, paid the penalty of man's sin, and that we now may enter into the family of God on the basis of his shed blood.
• We believe in the bodily resurrection and imminent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
• We believe that all who recieve, by faith, the Lord Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God.

The Lord charges parents with the responsibility of instructing their children in all areas of growth and development (Deut. 6:6-9, Prov. 22:6, Eph. 6:4). Journey Academy has been established to provide a structural support system, which will aid parents in reaching the goal of a high quality and well rounded education for their children.

We believe the following is of utmost importance to the home educator:

Building Christian Character - We believe that, although academics are important, it is not the first priority of Christian education. We encourage the educators of Journey Academy to first and foremost build Christian character into their students. Education is not amoral. A teacher is doing a disservice to the student if morals and biblical values are not a major part of the learning experience.

And these words which I command you this day shall be upon your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.- Deut. 6:6-7
